Secondary school is a time of transition to most. Like some of us, we come from a school far away, away from our friends, our teachers but most of all, the environment in which we were brought up. of which the last point makes the most impact in the future. In the past, there was innocence in some school, while others were neglected and became delinquents.
Like in my primary school, the teachers inculcated a sense of justice in our minds, for that i thank them, but in secondary school, the hierarchy has changed, the air becomes more tense and everyone wanted to give a good impression to others, both to gain friends and to teach what they know, it is also to gain respect and become a "leader". What good is all these when one doesnt have ideals, or false ideals. Human nature is to always think they are right, but what ir right is what is gleamed from the insights of friends, what they think of you, thier comments, some of which may be bad, but are equally important to take heed. True friends are harder to make and find, until you have found a group that shares your interests and ideals and will CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES. it does not matter if one doesnt treat another like a friend, other people that have a good heart would naturally look out for you, whether you like it or not. they will try to correct your mistakes and teach you to do the right thing, no matter what you think of them after, what they did is good for you. Just like parents and children, while younger,we wondered why our parents punished us, nagged at us, it was all to teach us, to mould us into better persons, it is they who have experienced societies hardships. and they work hard for themselves and you, just like you should work hard for yourselves and them, not by showing results, but by showing that the morals have been taught succesfully. cheating for example is lying to oneself, to betray the trust that everyone has given, to give oneself false hopes that the test results is good and thier knowledge is great. Stop decieving yourself, wake up and start to strive for oneself. What is important is to be true to yourself, do not worry what others might think, but worry more about what you might become because of the fear of what others might think. Be yourself. Be honest to yourself.
Knowledge Is Power. Lying Is A Picture Of False Hopes And Power.
