Ok this here is a composition i wrote. Im going to post it and a few others on my blog, just to make it look more filled and not just a blank black wall with a small red patch at the top. This story is called"Ravenous"
There are many forms of hunger, hunger for power, hunger for fame and hunger for the riches the world has to offer, but the most primordial hunger is the hunger for food, for food that can fill the gullet and give strength.
It looked up from its meal and stared at the forest with cold piercing eyes. It raised its snout and sniffed the air around it. It was an almighty creature, but was cursed since birth, cursed with an insatiable hunger for food, its stomach a bottomless pit that could never be filled. It was once a very intelligent being, able to think clearly and rationally, but now, its mind was a blur, every feeling and emotion it once had was now covered by a thick and impenetrable fog, a haze. All except the longing for its next meal, which was left untainted and amplified by the absence of all other senses. It was a lonely entity, not cast out by nature, but cast out by its own hunger. Every creature he eventually befriended would inevitably be devoured by it. The only things it had for company was the forest, the trees and plants that covered the landscape, and yet even these silent observers would not be left untouched by the time it moved on.
It spotted a deer, a great deer, as great as a house and as beautiful as the setting sun, its fur a brilliant red dotted with brown. The deer was a majestic animal, even to a monster that only saw animals as food. After a second of admiring the great beast, it charged at the deer with fangs bared and claws outstretched, ready for the kill, to feast upon this unfortunate creature's flesh and to attempt to fill the void that was its stomach. The deer put up a fight, ramming it with the huge antlers on its head. A thunderous crack followed the attack, but it did not flinch, instead ripping at the deer with its lengthened claws ever more savagely.
After a short but fierce battle, it managed to bring down the great deer, and started to consume its flesh. Before long, it heard the slightest sound and its fur bristled, the sound was getting closer and it could make out the sound of cloth on dirt, the light thud on the earth and the cries of the plants. Soon more footsteps were heard approaching it, it seemed as if the footfalls were in no particular order.
A face appeared in the foliage and stared at it in shock and disbelief as much as fear and revulsion before the man was swiped away in a flurry of blood and fur, managing only a muffled scream. More men appeared and rush at it, surrounding it like a pack of wolves. They rushed at it, trying to inflict as many wounds as possible. In a flash, there were a hundred men around him, armed to the teeth and with killing intent. Then they all charged, everyone leaped towards him. It swung its mighty spiked tail and knocked a few away. Then he snapped its jaws, crushing another in its teeth. But before long, he was buried a tide of steel.
No wounds were mortal, but there were hundreds of individual wounds bleeding out its lifeblood. The haze in its mind had suddenly cleared and it could think again, for once it felt full, its hunger sated by death itself.
ok thats the end of it, hope you enjoy it, anyone that reads this. leave your comments if you wish.
