Pretty Good

Ooooh 'O' levels chinese is coming up soon, very soon, so soon that i dont even have time to go to the provision shop and get myself a beer(in 2 years). I guess im thinking of getting at least an A2 for that paper so i can forget about it already and get on with life and the other subjects. Its pretty hardcore man, the way i see people studying for chinese in class, up til now i have no clue how to study chinese from doing assessment books, all i know is just remembering those damned phrases that will surely bag me extra marks during the exams, which i have never used.

Somehow, im led to thinking about the typical singaporean behaviour when i think of chinese, either that or the weird and usually funny accents i hear all over. I cant blame them though. When i think of this, i can link it to people getting into a lift, there are a few irritating types when it comes to mind, like those people that stand so close to the lift door that their nose is almost touching the door, or those that just want to be the first and rush into the lift just for the kick of being the first in something. Even worse are those that charge in the lift, bang into someone (or scare someone if their nose is to big) and say "wah kao! paiseh paiseh. solli solli. if they already know that they have to say sorry, why bother to rush in? i still cant fathom what goes on in the minds of this people. Why do they have to do this? is it for the thrill of winning? because everyone else is beating them to other things, or whether it is too competitive in singapore that even a small battle like this can help them go on to achieve bigger things in life? the WCG(World Charging Games)? Neither you nor i will ever know, unless....

"Insert Title here"

In the blink of an eye, the exams have almost come to a close, just 3 frigging subjects left, of the trio, one is an immortal enemy of mine, able to transcend time, living in the books as an immortal. Chemistry. Terrorizing future generations as long as Man exists. How to fight this mighty foe? Only tuition can help, i cant study things that need calculations myself, i just cant be bothered, so tuition is there to back me up and let me hope for the best. Its not that chemistry is hard, its just that i just cant seem to enjoy it more that i enjoy sitting down with an interesting storybook.

So far the exams have been pretty much better, i have a feeling i will fare better then i did in the past, its like the all the subjects improve as a whole, failing with higher marks, passing with higher marks, if u get my drift. but then still nowhere near how good i want my results to be, its like everyone is higher then me and i am pretty not that very quite good, or not good for that matter. I shall stop trying to type anymore, i seem to be typing stuff in a pretty weird way today so i shall stop.

Its Another Story Time!

This story is um. pretty well quite, abit tough to understand for those with a lower IQ. so fret not if u do not understand much. its just a story, this is a virtual and imaginary world. Im a supporter of Doomsday so this story is pretty dark. Foreboding in a way. but whatever, here goes.

In the darkness of space, a large shimmering craft sped along the various constellations, silent except for the humming of the engines and the faintest whisper of a being. "Their ignorance will be their undoing, we are ready to cleanse the world."

It was on the news, the bulletins, headlines, everywhere. Reports of the various climatic changes around the world. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, droughts and earthquakes, all happening more frequently and with deadly results. Voracious winds whipped the lands, tremors shook the earth. More importantly, the temperature of the atmosphere has been rising by unprecedented amounts. Even the stratosphere is not entirely spared. This is all because of our ignorance for the environment around us, the failure to protect it, only doing things for our own gain.

Many geologists and conservationist have issued many calls and pleas for a change, but all were met with utter failure. The world leaders, care about something, but only for thier respective countries and possible self gain. Every step to counter climate change has beenput on hold, only to be discussed later and met with opposition due to financial reasons, or chucked aside in the face of more pressing issues like recession. compared to the money spent on useless and pointless things like war, militarty funding, the amount used to research on climate change pales in comparison. Even steps taken to combat climate change need decades to be implemented. Every step forward, every success achieved has a hundred thousand failures in the shadows behind it. Ignorance, man's basic principle, to ignore things that have no potential for self-benefit.

That is until one evening. A certain professor of an un-named university made a chilling discovery. Something at the Earth's core was moving, working its way, changing the structure of the crust and core, something that could cause a catastrophic chain of events. A catasclysm. Again, this was met with harsh criticism and then ignored, forgotten. World leaders refused to believe the professor, firmly believing that they are already doing enough to save the world, to help it. Even one of the most brilliant minds alive could not change the mindset of the world. The next day, he disappeared.

The Professor found himself a prisoner, a well treated one, in an unknowned and alien surrounding. Then suddenly, thoughts were forced into his head. "We will cleanse this filthy world. The planet will die. We are regretful, but we have to perform this planet-kill. Earthquakes will tear the ground asunder, volcanoes will devour the cities and fire will burn away the atmosphere. You cannot stop the judgement. When a planet becomes a danger to the galaxy, we must end it. However, you, one of the greatest minds of all time, must join us. Its a pity the other has gone, but we can ressurect him with his brain, make him a new body." Then the thoughts flashed out as fast as they appeared and the professor fell into the void of unconciousness.

A year later, super volcanoes erupted and turned the surface on the planet into little more than molten rock and ash. Great chasms appeared and consumed all signs of an inhabited planet, before firestorms wreaked the planet and burned the atmosphere away. On a floating disk, three figures observed, two devoid of feelings and one with horror. On that last day, the three figures and a preserved brain disappeared before the surface of the planet was devoured.

haha its pretty heavy even for me to write. It just a story and it is entirely fictional. hope all you enjoy it and can understand what i am trying to put across.
